Small Groups

What are small groups, you may ask?
In a Methodist church, small groups are intentional communities of 3 to 15 people who meet regularly to foster spiritual growth, accountability, and community.
Members pray together, study scripture, support each other in their faith journey, and find ways to serve God in the world, a model rooted in John Wesley‘s early Methodist Class Meetings where he encouraged members to abide by three simple rules: do no harm, do good, and love God.
Tuesday Evening Small Group – 2nd & 4th Tuesdays at 6:30pm.
*NOTE- this small group is taking a break and will resume soon. *
Jim and Pam Hoepner lead this group and they meet on the 2nd & 4th Tuesday of each month in the basement at Salem Church. The group varies their studies, but the current study is on Discovery Bible Study – a simple method to see for oneself what the Bible says about life’s big questions by studying different scriptures each session. There is no homework and students will gain insight whether they are brand new to the bible or mature in the faith walk. Contact Pam for more info: 813-956-1721.

** Our Young Adult Group is taking a pause to find the right person to lead us forward.
The group normally meets regularly for Bible study, fellowship, games, and snacks every Sunday at 6pm at Salem Church. Come connect with others, share life, and grow together as we follow Jesus.
If you are interested in joining the young adult small group, please let the church office know at 989-453-2552, so we can keep you informed about when it will resume.
