Women’s Bible Study Groups

3 happy young women sitting at a table reading and discussing the bible.

We have 2 groups that meet on different days and times. Our recent studies have been 6-8 weeks in length and are in the format of a video teaching session, followed by personal study components with questions for reflection and group discussion. Each weekly session lasts between 1-1/2 to 2 hours.

Recent studies include teachings on Hebrews, the Psalms, Genesis, Revelation, and Philippians by well-known Bible teachers like Beth Moore, Lisa Harper, Kristy McClellan, and Jen Wilkin.

We’d love to have you join us!

One group meets Tuesday mornings at 10 am, led by Pam Hoepner, and the other meets Thursday evenings at 6:30 pm, led by Beckie Eichler. Both groups meet in the Fellowship Hall, in the basement of Salem Church.

Men’s Bible Study

Two men sitting together studying a bible. Monday evening MEN'Z bible study

This study group is led by Randy Ovcen and meets at 6:30 pm on Monday evenings in the Fellowship Hall, located in the basement of Salem Church.

**The spring session just finished. The group will resume in the fall. ** Check back for the dates.

The group varies its studies. Sometimes it is a series and others, a single subject. Either way, the Men’z bible studies address real-life issues that Christian men face in today’s world through the lens of Scripture.

Small groups

Currently Salem Church offers several small group opportunities for adults.

We also offer several small group opportunities for both men and women here at Salem Church.

What are small groups, you may ask?

In a Methodist church, small groups are intentional communities of 3 to 15 people who meet regularly to foster spiritual growth, accountability, and community.

Members pray together, study scripture, support each other in their faith journey, and find ways to serve God in the world, a model rooted in John Wesley‘s early Methodist Class Meetings, where he encouraged members to abide by three simple rules: do no harm, do good, and love God.
