Children’s Ministries during Sunday worship
Children’s Message
The children are invited to come to the front of the church for a short children’s message with our Director of Children’s Ministry during the worship service.
Fussy child?
No worries. We love it when kids are in church!
There are quiet baskets available to help occupy children who are in the sanctuary for the regular worship service. Simply ask an usher or greeter as you enter the sanctuary, and they will be happy to give them a basket.
Nursery is available in the basement if you feel the need to take your child out. The service is available to be viewed online while in the nursery.
Sunday School
We offer Sunday School classes that are age-appropriate from preschool through high school during the school year. These classes are held right after the Sunday morning worship and are in the basement classrooms.
Here are our Spring 2026 children/youth class offerings:
(Classes run from 10:15am-10:45am)
- Pre-K – Kindergarten – meet in the Nursey in basement
- 1st grade – 4th grade – meet in the carpeted room
- 5th grade – meet in the basement kitchen
- 6th grade – 8th grade – meet in the carpeted classroom in the basement
- High School – meet in the choir room upstairs near the church office
Kids’ Club
Kids Club resumes Wednesday, January 7th.
Family Night and Kids’ Club is held in the Fellowship Hall (located in the basement of Salem Church).
Come start the first hour of your evening off right with a delicious, free meal and fun activities for the whole family!
5:30pm Meal – Free, and open to everyone!
6pm-6:30pm – Families can join several fun opportunities including games and crafts.
Our adult choir practices on Wednesdays at 6:30pm in the choir room (located upstairs near the church office). You are welcome to join the choir – they are always open to having more singers! 🙂

Vacation Bible School
We have vacation bible school (VBS) each summer.
This summer our VBS was Camp Chaos. Camp Chaos was packed with singing, crafts, rides, snacks, Bible lessons, and just plain fun! Most importantly, the kids learned how much Jesus loves and cares for each of us. It was an amazing week, and a rousing good time was had by all!
